Non-Commericalized Policy: The Weather Data is Trusted, and Reliable

teamWeather sticks by a strict policy to make sure weather data is coming from sources that are trusted and reliable. We do not believe in the use of commercialized data that can be placed in favor of a certain pattern due to a forecaster’s ties back to a weather TV station, or other form of commercial media. We do not accept offers to use commercialized data over other data in order to make sure that the user is getting verified data from teamWeather and not data that was sold to us to use.

Warning about using Internet Weather Data

Please do not use any weather information from the Internet for the protection of life or property. Do not use any Internet weather data for the use of emergency and disaster recovery. Services such as NOAA Weather Radio, EMWIN, and NOAAPORT should be used locally and the Internet should not be depended on for this information.

Liability Policy

teamWeather, or its owner(s) or founder, is not to be held liable for any damages caused by the use of our web sites (Zenzel Technologies, teamWeather, Christopher David Zenzel Online Web Site) or our content on the Internet on other social networking or wiki web sites. We, Zenzel Technologies, or Christopher Zenzel is not to be held for any monetary or other assets (corporate or personal) compensation for any reason (including damages from using our applications or web site and/or damages caused by personal usage of any content provided through our web site or any other web site).

We do not provide any e-mails on any of our domains for any legal investigations (which include teamweather.com, zenzel.net, or zenzel.com). Application names are also copyright by teamWeather. Some content also might be copyrighted within an application; however, not all the content is to obey the rules of public domain such as the data from the National Weather Service.

Applications Privacy Policy

Applications installed to your device collect various information that you enter and it is only saved to your device locally. We may use any applicably entered information to pull information from the Internet to target information, such as weather data, to your device’s display. Any components of an application that use other services, including e-mail, use your device’s e-mail client and not any servers or components of teamWeather or Zenzel Technologies.

Other Materials on Zenzel Technologies, Zenzel.net Servers

No information on Zenzel Technologies and Zenzel.net servers can not be collected through any legal process such as court or supina. The material is only archived for up to 4 seconds and the only materials that can be retrieved up to 4 seconds from the second of a request if a legal problem occurs. Zenzel Technologies and/or teamWeather can use any material that they archive personally.

This purpose of the agreement is to protect our users, content, and ourselves. Please note that this agreement is mainly targeted to protect our users and serve our users better.

Outage Policy

Some of teamWeather’s applications may occasionally receive outages and/or out-of-date or time information. We are not to be held responsible for any outages that are out of our control especially when the data comes from other upstream data providers such as the National Weather Service. When weather events are severe there tends to be some outages at various server farms around the country that cause outages with our weather applications.

Announcements about Outages

Announcements of outages can be usually found on our Twitter, Facebook, or Google Groups pages. All three pages on the Internet can be subscribed to and we will try to keep users updated and informed about any issues with our applications and data outages. Facebook is the best location to get outage updates and Twitter is the second best spot to get outage updates. Due to Twitter’s character limit we recommend Facebook for outage updates.
